Responsible Gambling Policy
At Yuluneinnreviewer, we believe that gambling should always be an enjoyable and entertaining experience. We are deeply committed to promoting responsible gambling practices and ensuring the well-being of every guest who visits our establishment. This policy has been developed and is maintained by , located at .
We understand that for some individuals, gambling can become more than just entertainment. We want you to know that you are not alone, and we are here to support you every step of the way.
Our Commitment
Yuluneinnreviewer is fully committed to providing a safe, fair, and responsible gambling environment for all of our guests. We take our social responsibilities seriously and actively work to minimize the potential harms associated with gambling. Our commitment includes the following principles:
- Providing clear and accessible information about responsible gambling practices.
- Training our staff to recognize signs of problem gambling and to respond with empathy and care.
- Offering practical tools and resources to help guests manage their gambling activity.
- Cooperating fully with regulatory authorities and support organizations.
- Refusing service to anyone who appears to be in distress or who has enrolled in a self-exclusion program.
- Never encouraging guests to chase losses or to gamble beyond their personal limits.
- Displaying responsible gambling information prominently throughout our premises and on this website.
We encourage all of our guests to gamble responsibly, set personal limits, and treat gambling as a form of entertainment rather than a source of income.
18+ Age Policy
Gambling at Yuluneinnreviewer is strictly reserved for individuals who are 18 years of age or older. This is a legal requirement under Ontario's gaming regulations, and we take it very seriously.
We have a zero-tolerance policy for underage gambling. Our staff are trained and authorized to request valid government-issued photo identification from any guest who appears to be under the age of 25. Acceptable forms of identification include:
- Canadian passport or passport card
- Provincial or territorial driver's licence
- Ontario Photo Card
- Permanent Resident Card
- Any other valid government-issued photo ID showing date of birth
Any guest who is unable to provide valid proof of age will be refused entry to our gaming areas. If a minor is found to be gambling on our premises, we will immediately involve the appropriate authorities. Protecting young people from the potential harms of gambling is a responsibility we take with the utmost seriousness.
We also encourage parents and guardians to speak openly with young people about the risks associated with gambling and to prevent access to gambling websites and venues.
Recognizing the Signs of Problem Gambling
Problem gambling can affect anyone, regardless of age, background, or financial situation. It can develop gradually and may not always be easy to recognize. We encourage you to reflect honestly on your own gambling habits and to look out for those around you.
Some common warning signs that gambling may be becoming a problem include:
- Spending more money on gambling than you can afford to lose.
- Borrowing money or selling possessions in order to fund gambling.
- Feeling irritable, restless, or anxious when not gambling.
- Lying to family members, friends, or colleagues about the extent of your gambling.
- Neglecting work, school, or family responsibilities because of gambling.
- Chasing losses — continuing to gamble in an attempt to win back money you have lost.
- Gambling as a way to escape stress, anxiety, depression, or other emotional difficulties.
- Feeling guilt or remorse after gambling sessions.
- Repeatedly trying to cut back or stop gambling without success.
- Gambling consuming a disproportionate amount of your time and thoughts.
If you recognize any of these signs in yourself or someone you care about, please do not hesitate to reach out for help. Asking for support is a sign of strength, and effective help is available right now.
Self-Exclusion Tools and Responsible Gambling Resources
We offer a range of tools to help you stay in control of your gambling. These measures are entirely confidential and are designed to be supportive rather than punitive. Our goal is to help you make informed decisions and to protect your well-being.
Self-Exclusion Program
If you feel that you need a break from gambling, or if you are concerned that your gambling has become problematic, you can voluntarily enroll in our self-exclusion program. Self-exclusion allows you to request that you be banned from entering our gaming facilities for a defined period of time. Once enrolled, you will not be permitted to gamble at Yuluneinnreviewer, and our staff will take active steps to enforce this arrangement.
To enroll in our self-exclusion program, please speak with a member of our Responsible Gambling team at the casino floor or contact our guest services desk. All requests will be handled with complete confidentiality and compassion.
Ontario Self-Exclusion (GameSense / OLG)
In addition to our on-site program, you can also register with the Ontario Lottery and Gaming Corporation (OLG) self-exclusion program, which applies to all OLG-regulated gaming venues across the province of Ontario. For more information, please visit the OLG website or speak with our Responsible Gambling Ambassador on the gaming floor.
Additional Responsible Gambling Tools
We also encourage all guests to make use of the following practical tools to help maintain healthy gambling habits:
- Set a budget: Decide how much money you are comfortable spending before you begin, and stick to that limit no matter what.
- Set a time limit: Decide in advance how long you will gamble and use an alarm or reminder to keep yourself accountable.
- Take regular breaks: Step away from the gaming floor periodically to clear your mind and reassess.
- Avoid gambling when upset: Never gamble when you are feeling distressed, angry, lonely, or under the influence of alcohol or other substances.
- Keep gambling in perspective: Remember that the odds always favour the house and that gambling should never be seen as a way to make money or solve financial problems.
